George Barnes


George Barnes joined the Something Else team after graduating from East Sydney Design School in 2007. George has worked as an in-house artist from the beginning of his involvement with the brand, developing unique digital artwork and prints for the label season after season.

As Art Director of Something Else George curates the art program each season, including sourcing new talent from across the world to contribute. George also produces music for Something Else collections under the moniker DJ Dreamcatcher.

Most recently, George worked significantly on the Ken Done does Something Else capsule collection. This project saw George digitally remix Ken Done’s original paintings into groundbreaking, wearable artworks.
